ACCESS WISH LIST

 

MONETARY DONATIONS are always welcomed and can be designated for a specific program or budget such as: capital campaign, shelter operations, children’s programming, food, client assistance, etc.

GIFT CARDS

Grocery-Fareway, HyVee, and Cub Foods

Gas-Casey’s, Kum n Go, etc.

Discount stores-Wal-Mart, Target, and Kmart

Phone cards help to keep clients in touch with their support systems.

FOOD

(Non-perishable)

Fruit juice, Fruit juice, cereal, fruit snacks, canned fruits and vegetables (not corn or green beans), canned meat such as tuna and chicken, chicken helper, tuna helper, canned pasta (Spaghetti O’s, ravioli, etc.), complete meals in a box, spaghetti sauce, coffee, condiments (ketchup, mayo, salad dressings, pickles, etc), baby food, baby formula, cooking oil

(Perishable)

Meat, poultry, fish, frozen foods, fresh fruit or vegetables may be donated by contacting the Shelter Director at 292-0500 or access@assaultcarecenter.org

CLOTHING

Seasonal clothing for women, girls, young men and boys.  Please note: We cannot store out of season clothes and suggest you donate these to Goodwill or the Salvation Army.

Socks, underwear, bras, boxers, and briefs in all sizes. (Must be new)

HOUSEHOLD

Silverware, cooking utensils, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, small appliances (toasters, coffee makers, microwaves, etc.) lamps, vacuum cleaners, alarm clocks, twin size bedding including vinyl sheets, mattress pads, blankets, sheets, pillows, laundry soap, bleach, general use disinfectant, liquid dish soap, dishwasher soap, pledge, toilet brushes, sponges/scrubbers, scratch pads, trash bags (large and medium), toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, sandwich and storage baggies

PERSONAL

Shampoo, Conditioner, African American hair care products, lotion, hairbrushes, barrettes, hair ties, feminine products, deodorant, cold/flu medicine (must be sealed), and cough drops

CHILDREN’S PROGRAM

Diapers (particularly sizes 4, 5, &6), Pull-Ups, baby wipes, children’s toothbrushes, baby wash, baby clothing, baby bottles, pacifiers, sippy cups, crib sheets, Pack n Plays, strollers (particularly double stroller), high chairs, non-violent toys, coloring books, craft items, birthday and holiday gifts for all ages, notebooks, folders, markers, colored pencils, binders, backpacks for high school students, baby monitors, 9V batteries, and safety gates.
