VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (Posted on October 27, 2008)

ACCESS is seeking a full-time coordinator of volunteer recruitment, scheduling and training.  ACCESS relies heavily on volunteer assistance to staff our shelter, to assist victims on our crisis line, and to take part in community outreach and supportive activities.  This coordinator will also directly serve survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in our shelter facility or in an outreach/crisis response capacity.  Qualified candidates will possess strong organizational and community networking skills, and be empathic to needs of survivors.  Experience in working in victim services or other social service field, and/or education in a related field preferred.
